"Can you capture the smell of these? They smell amazing!" - Phillip Saindon

Need I say more? Ok yes I do. BEST DESSERT EVER!!! lol!

I love love love cinnamon apples and these apples hit the mark dead on. Adding protein makes them a bit more balanced but they are also a smidge indulgent making them the best of both worlds. Make sure you take each bite with apple and cinnamony crumble delish. Hope you enjoy!

Ingredients:

½ cup (41 grams) rolled oats or quick oats

¼ cup (27 grams) chopped pecans or walnuts

1 scoop Liv Body Cinnamon Cookie Crumble protein powder (save 20% with code: coachcassandraoc)

2 teaspoons cinnamon divided

3 tablespoons stevia

2 tablespoons cashew milk

1 tablespoon butter, melted

4 medium apples, such as Gala, cleaned and cored

¼ cup water

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. In a medium bowl, toss together oats, nuts and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Spread in an even layer on prepared baking sheet. Bake 4 to 6 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove and set aside. Reduce heat to 325°F. In a large bowl, combine toasted oats mixture, stevia, remaining cinnamon, milk, protein powder and melted butter. Add additional water 1 tablespoon at a time until it's a moist crumbly topping consistency. Spoon mixture into the center cavity of each apple. Place apples on baking sheet and bake in oven for 30-40 minutes.
