Strawberry Vanilla Smoothie

This is so refreshing after a sweaty workout. My girls even like it! Tastes like an indulgent strawberry milkshake but fresh...if that makes sense. lol! I use vanilla protein powder but LIVBody just came out with a strawberry milkshake protein powder that would probably be AMAZING! I'll have to update you when I make it with that. Mmmm. You could have it for breakfast for a nutritious start to the day or post workout to replace that glycogen AND give you protein for your muscles. It's definitely a must try!


Ingredients:

2 1/2 oz frozen strawberries

1/2 medium banana

2 tbsp vanilla protein powder

1 1/2 tbsp rolled oats

1 tsp vanilla extract

3/4 cup milk of choice


Method:

Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Option to add water and ice to make a larger portion.
